Hiding barnumbers at Rehearsal Marks works fine, except at the start of a system (with or without a System Break). What setting am I missing? Dorico 5.1.60
That did it! I set the sequence type to Bar numbers in the Properties Panel, not in Engraving Options. Still strange behaviour I think but at least it works now. Thanks!
Not at all strange. Dorico has global options, which can be overriden using properties in individual instances. The general rule is always try to find a global setting before tinkering with specifics.

Is there a way to hide bar numbers at rehearsal marks at the beginning of a staff line when the rehearsal marks are set to be letters? I would really like to hide bar numbers at rehearsal marks globally when my marks are letters and not just when the marks are bar numbers. The only thing you can do in Layout Options is “Show Bar number” at rehearsal marks. It’s a real pain to go through each part and hand select each bar number and hide it individually in the properties panel.
