Hello. I would like to hide the time signatures. I want the time signatures to be visible only on the first measure and hidden for the rest. However, the time signatures on the 16th and 17th bars cannot be hidden. Please let me know what the problem is. I would appreciate a kind explanation. Those are automatic cautionary time signatures related to repeats: see the options on the Repeats page of Layout Options.

It seems you’re using a method that isn’t optimal for entering mid‑bar repeats. Rather than inserting time signatures, simply place the repeat barlines where needed, and Dorico will take care of the rest: the time signatures will be hidden and the bar count will remain correct (and you won’t get the cautionaries).

You can’t delete the second bar (bar 6), but you can specify the 4/4 time signature there explicitly and then hide it; that’ll give you the result you want.
