Hide clef, key signature, etc. after mid bar system break

I have a system break in the middle of a bar (for formatting reasons) and my teacher told me not to have a clef, key signature, or anything else on the next system. In other words, make it clear that the next system begins mid way through a bar. How do I do this in Dorico?

You can’t do that easily in Dorico. Partly because it’s not a thing that should be done.

Breaks in the middle of the bar don’t require hiding clefs and such.

The proper way would be to show the bar number in brackets. (Which Dorico does by default)

You’re right. I’ve just checked a a few scores from big publishers and none of them do what my teacher suggested! I guess I’ll leave it as is then.
