Hide Individual Tempo Markings in Parts Only

As shown on the attached, parts with extensive multimeasure rests also show the various tempo markings from the full score. I want to continue to show selected markings where it makes sense but “hide” others to reduce visual clutter. Is this possible?

I can’t possibly imagine how that would be helpful.

BTW, don’t you think a few cues might be a good idea?

I don’t think it’s possible to do this, sorry. You might be able to drag them off the page but I doubt it.

Hi @dhcfield, you can set, from the Color property, the Opacity to 0%, for selected Tempo items in a Layout. Set the Properties Panel scope to Locally first, so that the Color property only applies to that Layout (you will recognise local properties overrides, because the property text remains normal white, instead of bold white).

Consider that continuation lines will not be affected by the Color Property, so switch them off from the Properties panel, or Globally in Engrave Options. (This Property override will always be global (bold white), even if you have Locally set in the properties panel)

Also bear in mind that this will not prevent the “hidden” tempi to break Multi-bar rests.

Well, this is a feature which I would love to request from the creators of Dorico.
There are pretty often cases when there are small tempo indications (which also require dots, or lines) which I don’t need in a instrumental part which has a long break.
So far, changing the color is an option, but affect the multi-measure rest, which is also important!

So, is it possible to implement that Tempo changes could be hidden individually in parts, same like octava lines?
