Is anybody using an internal USB port for their dongle and if you are, what are your experiences?
I’m wondering if there might be any negative impacts on putting the dongle inside the computer so that it doesn’t get knocked. Would it overheat inside there and affect performance? Would it be stable? Would putting it on a USB PCI card affect latency and performance?
I have seen this PCI card with 5 ports/one internal - and I was wondering why anybody would want an internal USB port but maybe for exactly this reason - dongles!
