Hi all, I have a score which has: lead sheet, a rhythm chart (basically the lead sheet without lyrics and with more of the specific hits/etc, and several parts for a horn section. I’d like the chord symbols to appear over the written horn parts when they are playing, but not elsewhere because it makes the score cluttered. (IMO, it’s useful to show them the changes so they know the context, even if their parts are written out.)
Here’s the tpt1 part as imported from the finale xml:
(the parts also got imported in concert pitch, but I think I can figure out how to change that via some instrument setting or worst case, a manual transposition - song is in B concert.)

edit - somehow the tenor sax did get imported in the transposed key (Db), and also bass clef, weirdly, but all the other horns came in at the concert key.
Perfect, thanks! For anyone esle following along, there’s part specific setting in the setup tab where you can specify where chord symbols appear, rhythm section only, over slash regions, etc. The closest I was able to get in my case was showing them over slash regions and chord symbol regions, which obv didn’t display them over the written parts.
But, its quick to highlight the written part and create a chord symbol region (its in the write drop down menu.)
