I have searched the forum to no avail. Can you hide player names? If I try to set them to blank Dorico makes them numbers.
Why? I am trying to make custom manuscript paper and labels are not needed or wanted.
Andro, do the “empty” staves hold instrument sounds, clefs, or the like, or are they completely empty?
I tried adding a different number of spaces for each staff (instrument) name, which caused the numbers to disappear.
Hide staff labels in that case?
(2nd result when searching the manual for “hide player name labels” so this should be relatively easy to find!)

Thanks to extensive metadata, the documentation is relatively generous: search for what makes sense to you, and hopefully you’ll get a reasonable result (as demonstrated here: searching for “hide player name” brought up the relevant link as the top result).
When using the PDF, the index provides numerous routes to any particular topic, so you can follow almost any reasonable access point there as well.
