Hiding rests in stems down voice 2

I’m working on a lead sheet that has two verses of vocal text. The rhythms are slightly different but it can be condensed into repeated bars by cueing the rhythms in verse 2.

What is the best way to hide the extra rests in the attached screenshot? The bottom vocal cue is actually “stems down voice 2” as there are some piano cues in voice 1.extra-rests-voice2.dorico (1.2 MB)

Select it and go Edit > Remove Rests.

p.s. I didn’t realize that’s only available in Engrave mode.

It’s definitely available in Write mode.

And you’ll use it often enough that you should assign a key command to it, like Cmd-Shift-R!
