Horizontal "reference" lines in audio montage window.. what are they?

I like to know my levels… basic stuff. I scoured the manual and can’t find good reference for the actual audio montage editing window (they have lots of text in the manual, but not much in the visual sense). It looks like the “halfway point” on the vertical axis (samples, dB, whatever…)… but what is it? It’s an itch I need to scratch.

Hi!

Look at the most left in the Audio Editor and you see it in vertical scale in dB
look at picture, they reflect the same in Audio Montage…

Hmph… I was thinking something like that, but the audio montage doesn’t show that ruler/scale, so I was left guessing.

(It’s missing the ruler!)
