Houston, we have a problem (Steinberg Houston not working properly in CB 14.0.30)

As it seems, the Jog Wheel on Steinberg’s Houston Controller doesn’t work anymore in Cubase Pro 14.0.30 whenever turning it to the left (trying to move the song position towards song start). The wheel only changes the song position line in the DAW when turning it to the right (towards the song end). Strangely this doesn’t happen if the Jog Button is also enabled in parallel (and the DAW is operated in “Scrub-Mode”). In this case both directions are freely available as they should. The issue only occurs when the Jog Button is deactivated and an ordinary song cursor positioning needs to be performed via the wheel.
I can 100% ensure that this is not a Houston hardware problem, because I have tested the controller on my (parallel installed) Cubase 11 Pro, 12 Pro and 13 Pro versions where this feature is still working without any flaws.
Nevertheless, I already opened a ticket to let Steinberg check what could be wrong here, and if eventually a new piece of code could have broken the original Jog Wheel functionality.
Does anybody else with a Houston Controller experience similar problems under the latest Cubase version? Just let me know. Thanks a lot in advance.

FYI, there are multiple other threads (some closed) about this. They’ve reported it to SB, etc.
