Using VST Live with the computer keyboard would be extremely helpful. If you don’t use a keyboard for performances, it would be nice to not have to use the mouse to control Start, Stop, next song etc. This feature has been part of Cubase for decades. Something similar is needed for VST Live.
On Mac start and stop are done with the space bar, and you can move between songs and parts with the arrows, by the way I suggest you take a look inside Menu_Devices/Actions_and_shortcuts
I have a Windows 11 computer. I haven’t found a way to do that on my PC.
Look at Menu_Devices/Actions_and_shortcuts Section Transport. This is the richtig place to Set Key kommands. I use a small Logitech Numberpad for many comands.

For me, all is working via keystrokes.
Check : DEVICES / Actions & Shortcuts / Transport
you need to click in the „Shortcut“ column, then type the key you want. Try reset category to get to default keys. Note some views (like „Notes“) take the keyboard focus, there, space etc won‘t work.
