How apply multiple slurs easily (not repeated selection)

Apologies but I am new to Dorico – and initially very impressed!

However I relatively simple (?) and common task (for me at least) to resolve.

I wish to repeatedly apply the same slur to a long section of notes — it will be far too tedious/inefficient to manually repeat the tack.

Example: I have the following

I wish to repeatedly add slurs to the F->D notes, a few bars done manually but I can’t carry on.

I can multiply select all the Fs (and Ds for that matter) but apply a slur seems to apply to start and end selections only. Can you force Slurs to next note (selected or just next note).

Or am I missing something else I could do in the workflow. Having got one or a few bars done I guess I can repeat copy the bars? But this is still clinky as all the notes are there (from a MIDI import not that that’s super relevant)

Best
