How can I beam a half note to 16th notes?

I’m not sure what the correct term is here - I’m just describing how it looks.
What is this notation called, and how can I engrave it correctly in Dorico?

Enter your music in two voices:

Select the first sixteenth and in Engrave Mode, Properties Panel, set its voice column index to 0 (switching on the Voice Column Index button should be sufficient)

Then select the stem of the dotted half notes and press F.

Result:

The second step (with the voice column index) can be replaced by this one:
Open the Notation Options, and in the Voices section, enable this option:
