I am installing Cubase 8 (fresh install - I deleted all C7 and C7.5 files) and I have decided to put content on a second internal HD. So program files and user settings go to the C drive, VST sounds, samples, etc go on my D drive.
This was all going well until I tried to install HALion Symph Orch. The setup program gives me a choice of where to place the VST instrument but not the content. And I don’t have enough space on my C drive (it’s a 128GB SSD) to put all 6GB of VST data.
How can I put the data on my D drive, but still have it accessible by Cubase, which is on the C drive?
