how can i reach someone at steinberg?
Hi andwelcome to the forum!
You can contact the telephone support at anytime. I think this would be the most immediate way to get in contact with someone at Steinberg.
hey, thanks! where can i find that telephone number?
Here you go
It does depend on what country you are in though. Where are you @DAVID_HENMAN?
canada, and i don’t speak german, unfortunately
Sorry, I accidentally attached the German link which lists telephone support for European countries. My bad.
update: i found the problem. apple updated their MAC OS two days ago, making it necessary to go the steinberg’s website to see if you had also upgraded the relevant driver.
it would be great if you could warn their customers of these changes.
This is a user based forum so you might want to readress your complaint.
Just out of curiosity: How do you want Steinberg to issue a warning to all clients on a MAC if Apple updates their OS in the future?
Btw: Glad to hear that you found a solution
attention: garageband and logic pro users, please note that apple has upgraded mac os, so you will need to download a new driver, here: (insert link)
Fair enough. I am not sure though if everybody would welcome such a notice via mail. Anyways, this is not up to me. Maybe this could be a topic for the lounge in this forum whether and how such a warning can be issued (mail, newsletter, hub etc). Discussions like this are noticed by Steinberg.
i wouldn’t recommend sending out emails, just a notice on the relevant website page
What was the driver? No issues here after updating MacOS so curious.
same here, thor. i’m in contact with tech guys at both yamaha and yamaha steinberg, and i’m getting conflicting advice. i have another ur44c that i purchased five years ago. channels 1&2 have stopped working, but otherwise it functions perfectly even after updating mac os.
