Hi all. Using Cubase 7. I wanted to know how can i hide all the extras that comes when you add a new VST.

Probably something in the preferences.

The placeholder for the VST instrument can only be “hidden” by instancing of a VST instrument rack, in deference to a rack-based instrument.
Only the folders can be removed by firstly dragging their contents out into the project window and placing them outside of the (VST Instruments) folder.

The VST placeholder cannot be removed, as it is required by the program when a instrument is instanced from the VST rack, as opposed to using a VST Instrument (stereo only) track.
