How can I simplify this bar

Hi, the upload shows a bar of music in 3/4 time. In the bass clef there is a sustained ‘G’ for the entire bar with a B and D played on the off beat.

Although correct I think it would be better displayed as follows:-

Can anyone help?

select your G, and press shift-V to create a new voice (or simply V if the downstem voice is already created…)
