How can I transpose the one song?

I had to quickly transpose the song a tone lower. I can see the transposition controls on the layers workspace, but it is for the entire project, and I only need to transpose one song permanently. Is there a way to do this? If not, please add it to the program.

…you can set “Global Layer Transpose”.

There is no Song transpose.

Added to the new version. Note that you need to close the Song Actions Dialog to “make it happen”.

I tried to activate the transpose function, but somehow it doesn’t work. There is no change. I have installed the latest version of VST Live pro 3.0.13

I guess you are talking of Transpose function of the “Song Action” dialog? This setting controls the transpose of incoming MIDI Events for all layers of the song.

Ok, I assumed you could transpose the song as such. For example, I have another singer one evening, but he can’t cope with the tone of the other singer and has to sing the song higher or lower. That would be a very useful function for me. Since I am not a keyboardist, the existing function is of no use to me at all. See you, Stefan

You can route a MIDI track thru a Layer though.
