How do I add to dynamic notation? <coming from Finale>

Specifically:
“sempre sF” can’t find “sempre” to add it and there is not an “sf”

“sFp” comes up as “F subito p” again the missing “sF”

Select the note, you want to attach the dynamics to, hit SHIFT+D, write “sempre sf”, and finish off with Enter, and voila presto, you’ve got “sempre sF”.

Hi @Raymond_Stakenas,
adding to what @Nickie_Foenshauge wrote, you have a property to decide locally how the sf/sfz should appear, which you can also set globally in Engraving options. The sempre you can add also as suffix:

You can create the sfp a playing technique, setting also the playback technique to sfp (or substitute one of the other glyphs for Force/Intensity of Attack, in Music Symbols):

Got it,
I trust the same goes with the sFp?
it does not appear like these would have any effect on playback …or am I missing something

I added some further informations in my previous post.

It looked simple until I tried to do it … will have to dig deeper tomorrow
