how do I buy Cubase 8 or best version for film scoring?

Hi Guys

Iv migrated from logic pro x and MAC to PC and I want to use Cubase. Which is the best version for film scoring? Good midi, score editor etc. Im on Windows 7 (64-bit) and use a Roland Octa-capture interface.

Also, how do I buy the software from scratch? I only see updates for purchase online.

Hi and welcome,

I would definitely recommended you Cubase Pro 9. In the lower derivatives (including Cubase Artist), there are some limitation, you could feel in the large film scoring scenario. And the Soire editor is also limited in the lower derivatives.
