Its Windows 10 Pro 22H2 with Intel i7 3,2 GHz RAM 24 GB. It is a reasonably old machine (Asus), priviously utilized in connection with business.

What are you expecting Dorico to do here? It’s just a single line. There’s no harmony to generate chord symbols from.

Sorry, is that just a joke about my “single line” comment, or is there supposed to be some other image there?
Perhaps you are expecting Dorico to dream up a harmonization for a given melody. It doesn’t do that. The feature creates chord symbols from notes already written in the score.
