How do I delete percussion & expression maps

Hi,
I’ve been working on Percussion and expression maps for a while.
I’m curious to know how to delete unwanted PM & EM’s when the delete button in the editor does not work.
Anyone have similar issue?

If you can’t delete them, it’s because Dorico thinks they’re still in use. If you don’t think that’s the case, attach a project here and provide more details.

I explored what you said and it seems to work.
What I ended up doing is opening up an empty project and then going into the EM & PM menus to see if I could delete any of them, since there aren’t any players with assigned instruments.
It would not let me delete any of them. The trash can is greyed out.
So why does this happen? How come it doesn’t let me delete when there are no instruments assigned & active, with no EM or PM’s assigned as well?

I also did some editing on the instruments list I created and they don’t transfer to other project files. Why is that?
