Um, just trying to change the colors to something that’s inspiring, and i see, all the color options for ‘Theme’ are limited to some of the weirdest hues of Grey…
How do i make Cubase look nice / set colors the way i want to ( ? )
Is there a dark mode switch or something that is on by default, and how do i turn it off ( ? )
There is sadly no dark/light mode switch nor does Cubase adhere to the Operating System settings. You can adapt the colors in the preferences, and not only to shades of grey (you can get quite colorful if you like), but the options are limited and it is not possible to create a good light interface as some of the fonts (and other UI elements) will always stay white/light, and that makes them hard to read on a light background. This is especially a problem if you like me prefer to have the arrangement window in a lighter color, which can make some automation curves practically invisible, depending on the track color…
I am wondering ( what setting to change ) because when i go to
Preferences
Color Schemes > Custom Color Scheme
all the main theme colors are locked to greys.. (( ..everything else is not, just the ones when you press Custom Color Scheme.. )) So i am wondering what setting would i change to achieve better colors
