Happy new year!
I want this as a tempo mark or similar. I tried shift+X and inserting notes but I can’t find either figure in the extraordinarily long list of choices.

This kind of notation is very easy to create if you use a special font MusGlyphs, created by @dan_kreider
So you are saying I need to pay 10 bucks to notate this? I am not against paying people money for their work but is this the only work around? Dorico doesn’t have a native feature that permits this notation?
The font is free. That’s just a suggested donation.
And no, this is not natively supported at present. Just use the font and type something like e.s=qe3, I don’t remember exactly but it’s in the documentation.
Thanks Dan, ok I gave a little sumpin sumpin but not the full suggested price. As in: I am a half-assed cheap-ass!
It takes many, many hours to create a font like this and perhaps you will find it useful for other workarounds where we use it as a text font in various places in the score/part also. It is quite useful, even outside Dorico.
I am sure Dan is appreciative of your “sumpin” nonetheless ![]()
