How do I permanently remove factory presets in mediabay

I’ve been using Cubase for over 30 years now and still this mediabay just does NOT feel right. How the heck to get rid of these factory presets! Please HELP

Cheers, Rob

Simply by deselecting Factory Content in the File Browser section.

And, it’s reversible.

I konow this, but I have to do this every time I start Cubase. :frowning:

Hm… you’re right. You could try to remove the content using the Steinberg Library Manager.

Don’t know about that  but thanks

I know this is an old thread, but I’ve found nothing on solving this. Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of all the factory bloat in a permanent way? Or at least have mediabay remember my selected folders between sessions?

You can make favorites of those folders.

I’ve tried that, but media bay still opens with the factory content selected. Is there any way to change that behaviour?

Don’t know, sorry. I don’t see that here.
