How do I record sysex changes?

I have an Oberheim Matrix 1000 and an Access Matrix Programmer to change patch parameters. Everything is working except the ability to record the sysex parameter changes I make when recording MIDI.

I’ve turned off the sysex MIDI filter under preferences for record, but it’s still not working.

Any ideas what it could be?

Also, where should I see the sysex parameter changes? Should they appear like CC changes?

How are they connected…is the programmer plugged via the computer or straight into the 1000?

MIDI interface out → Programmer → M1000

I’ve just realised i’m not using MIDI out from the M1000 so of course the sysex data isn’t being passed on to Cubase! :blush:

If I sort that hopefully it will work. I need to buy a MIDI extension cable to try it due to how things are set up so I’ll get one and try it.
