How do I save my preferred instruments in Halion Sonic SE?
I work a lot with saxophones and I always change the alto saxophone sound because the standard one is to hard in the treble area. But lately every time I open Dorico, Halion has reverted back to the standard default instrumentation, even though I changed it.
What am I doing wrong?
You can set up an instance of HALion Sonic SE with your preferred saxophone sounds loaded in it, save an endpoint configuration, then create a playback template that uses your fixed HSSE instance for saxophones, falling back on the automatic HSSE + HSO (Pro) playback template for everything else.
