How do I set up Cubase LE with Zoom G5n via USB to hear sound?

I have an iMac and bought a Zoom G5n that comes with Cubase LE. I connected via usb to the G5n and installed Guitar (by Zoom) as well. How do I set up Cubase LE so that I actually hear my guitar playing (and amplifier and effect choice) though my iMac in this set up? Let alone recording it…I first want to hear my electric guitar via my iMac :slight_smile:

I would recommend to watch Steinberg Cubase Quick Start Video Tutorials.

Be aware, some menu entries has been renamed since Cubase 10:

  • Devices = Studio
  • Device Setup = Studio Setup
  • VST Connections = Audio Connections

Btw, on Mac, make sure Cubase has enabled Mic in the System Preferences, please.
Open macOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone. Enable Cubase here.
