How do you color the mixer and box for the track to match the color of the track?

A newbie here… I’ve managed to color my tracks after watching a YouTube video, but it didn’t show how to color the box controlling the track or the mixer for the track the same color as the track. The documentation on this is not very clear on this. In the manual on page 447 it seems to say that it can be done under the “Track & MixConsole Channel Colors”, with step #5 saying to “Click OK”. There is no “OK” button :frowning:

Hi, You can click this little triangle

to choose track colour, mixer track colour should follow, you can further refine brightness etc in the preferences, you need to click ‘apply’ then okay to save preferences.

There is a menu item in the Project menu for coloring tracks or events. If you have no parts/events selected it will allow you to color selected tracks.

Yes, that too!

SurrealistBunny,

Thank you, that solved the problem. Part of my problem was that lower set of buttons was not shown on my screen (that window was being cutoff at the line just above them). I tried scrolling down to get it, but that didn’t work. I didn’t realize that it was a movable window. Once I did, I found the apply button and it worked as shown. So thank you very much!
