How Do You Route Mic Positions in Kontakt Instruments to Cubase Outputs?

I’m trying to assign mic positions of various Orchestral sample libraries in Kontakt to Cubase outputs instead of using the default mix mic for CSS within Kontakt. This is how I see most experienced composers approach mic positions.

The problem I’m having is that once I assign the four mic positions (strings ex: spots, main, room) to outputs in Cubase, I lose sound on the individual instrument tracks where the sound normally would’ve come from. You might ask why this matters when I can assign the mic outputs to a single VCA, but this won’t allow me to adjust individual sections or instrument volumes. I know it’s possible to get audio in both because I’ve seen templates where people have the mic positions routed to outputs, while still getting audio on each individual instrument track. I just don’t know how they’ve managed to retain the audio on every track while also are able to adjust mic positions in Cubase outputs. Any help would be appreciated!

I guess they leave the main (signal, position) on the default output.
That is the one that is available as the audio part of the instrument track.

It seems like this would be one way to do it, however I would prefer to be able to control the sum of all 4 mics on the instrument track fader. I’m starting to think it’s not possible because nobody has been able to figure it out across multiple forums

If you control all mics with one fader, it is the instrument track fader. But you can’t use extra outputs from the instrument.
