I think it is a great controller for mixing. Editing with touch screen don’t work well with Nuendo.

It is definately worth trying, IMO. There are videos, but they are quite old. It has come a long way since then…
I have Dtouch with a 42" screen. It seemed like a good idea but I found it wasn’t better or faster for me than a mouse. The limit on # of faders was not good for me although I understand the need for it. It wasn’t practical for editing either. It was cool at first but I found that it slowed me down. My 2 cents.

If you have the license still check it out now. They have these floating windows that might suit you…
But editing is a no go with Nuendo, agreed… With pt it works fine.
But just my opinnion: 24 faders at one go is definately enough for me. And I have 27" touch screen. I’d say 40" is too big…
Adjusting plugins is great with touch screen, almost like working with real unit. You just “grap” the control you want to adjust, no mouse needed at all…
