How the heck can we get a trial on spectrolayers 12 pro

! I already have steinberg cubase license. but i cannot figure out how to get a trial. they have a trial page for version 11 that does not even work.

I cannot find a way to contact support.

WTF

The trial version for SL12 isn’t released yet. It is a separate process involving a different tech system (Trial Provider System). This will only be set up when we know everything else is running. We’re currently resolving some issues with the MySteinberg Voucer and SDA.

Thanks for the prompt response as I was getting crazy.

I guess will have to wait.

Ok thanks, will the trial version be available before the end of the "release phase of SpectraLayers 12 " with the 20% discount?

Does said voucher work on me updating from 11 pro to 12?

Any updates on the trial release date? Starting a new project that could possibly use SL12 new features but I’m not just going to pay without a demo..

I’m guessing after the discount period…the 17th of July?

The 14th of July was a national holiday; Bastille Day…which might have some bearing on Robin’s interactions…and then many go on vacation on the 15th

ok in my world it is already well intothe 18th of July , what is the next ligical release date?

I’m just guessing, here…and clearly being incorrect
I have no idea, and no info

Here, in France, national holiday was on Monday the 14th
I’m guessing plenty of folks taking some time off

and possibly the many complaints about SL12 keeping the trial until some issues get ironed out?

bump

are there any plans for a trial?

Being a major audio professional for decades, I get all kinds of Steinberg marketing material. SL12 is interesting, but without a demo…nope. Weird that they would push it as hard as they do without it being ready for prime time. Doesn’t give me confidence in what would happen if I had glitches after I bought anything.

Still, I would love to try SL12.

Steinberg sure have their way of doing things. Usually one gets to demo software “and” benefit from any initial release discounts.

I trialled SL10 before purchasing and then purchased SL11
