How to activate Cubase 11 LE AI Elements 11 after upgrading my Mac

Hi,

Apologies if this has already been brought up here but I recently upgraded to a new Mac and I’m having trouble getting Cubase LE AI Elements 11 to work on it. I have downloaded the Download Assistant, the elicenser Control Center and Steinberg Activation Manager but I’m still getting the message of ‘no licence’ etc. I have managed to activate my new Mac on the licensed Devices on My Account but I’m still having no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

I have read all the info on the licensing change so I figure it is something to do with that but after going through multiple steps I’m still having the same issue. Also, on the eLicenser Control Center I tried to do the ‘Licence activation’ but I have no idea where to find the code, or if it will work.

Thanks, Ben

Hi Ben,
assuming you are talking about Elements 11 (the AI update is free):
if you don’t have a USB eLicenser you will have to buy the update that will propel you forward into the new licensing system. Afterwards, you can stay on this version for years to come if you choose not to update anymore.
Good news - Cubase is on sale right now (30% off) and it will just cost you 40 bucks to get from Elements 11 to 15. This will come with an abundance of new features so money well spent.
