How to activate?

I just purchased a ZOOM H4n which came with Cubase LE6. I realize that it needs to be activated in order to use but I can’t activate it. When I click on Cubase to launch I get a pop up saying Enter Activation Code. In the Enter Activation Code field it has: ####-####-####-####-####-####-####-####-####. There is nothing to enter. I try to copy the pound signs and that doesn’t work.

I’ve gone to the Steinberg website and the instructions there to activate also do not work. How does one activate this product.

Log into your MySteinberg account.
Click on add software.
Select Cubase LE.
Select Cubase LE6.
Enter your Soft E-Licenser number and which OEM partner you received your product with.
Now you will receive an activation code that starts with 0240 that can be copied and pasted on the screen in your screenshot. Let me know if you have any further trouble.
