Looking for a way to add the 1/2 flat, 1/2 sharp, 3/2 flat, 3/2 sharp 24EDO symbols to instrument names. The symbols themselves seem built into to Dorico, I am curious on how to add the same symbol to the instrument name.

I don’t think there’s a way to do this natively in Dorico. One approach is to go to the SMuFL reference site, locate the glyph you want, and copy it from the web page – literally drag-select the glyph on the web page and copy.
Then you can paste it into the Edit Instrument Names dialog. It will not display properly when you first paste it, but you can then select it there and apply the Music Text character style from the formatting toolbar. This makes sure that the character is displayed in an appropriate font which contains those glyphs.
Another approach is to note the Unicode code point for the glyph on the reference site, then go to Edit Instrument Names and type in the last 4 characters – that is, for example, E262 rather than U+E262. Then type Alt/Opt+X, and Dorico will convert what you’ve typed into the correct glyph. You’ll still have to select it and apply the Music Text character style.
