How to add chord pads to a track?

Hi all. I’m about to go on vacations so I thought about adding Cubasis 3 to my iPad for jotting down the quick ideas that may come.

I see that there’s a chord pad but I haven’t figured out how to add these chords to a MIDI instrument track other than by recording. Isn’t there some kind of drag-drop from the pads to the track if one doesn’t want to be in record mode?

Thanks for your help!

Hi @Nicolas_Schuele,

Thank you for your message and a warm welcome to the Cubasis forum.

The chord pads and chord buttons can be used to record chords or chord sequences via tapping the appropriate buttons or pads (in recording mode).

For more information about Cubasis and all its features, it might be worth watching our available tutorials. Here are links to a few of them:

Hope that helps!

Thanks! But my question was “is there a way to add chords to a track without being in record mode?” Just as you can drag-drop chords from the chord pads in Cubase.

Hi @Nicolas_Schuele,

Thanks for your message.

As stated above, the chord buttons and pads can be used in record mode only unfortunately.
