Is it possible to add several files together into one new file via a batch process?
If so, how?
The case here:
Around 200 files, are in one folder and needs to be added into one file.
Every file is about 50MB in size, so the resulting wav file will be around 10 GB in size.
That option is enabled in preferences when/after you open or create a Montage.
As it says Active Audio Montage.
Also disable fades in the montage.
Uncheck - Create Default Fades in New Clips before you import files.
Or if all these Active Montage Preferences can be brought into the Tool Windows like the Batch Plugins. (This way user will not have to go to File-Preferences-Audio Montage for every Active Montage)
doing this in montage is super quick and easy as PG mentioned, go into file explorer / finder
select all files, drag and drop into the montage, with the gap set to 0, start and end marker and thats it, render it out, and leave it rendering in the background while you are doing other projects
the 2 secs are most likely a carryover from the cd redbook standard, personally I use 2secs alot as its usually in my day to day specs, (and 0, 1.5, 3 & 4) so pretty much constantly adjust it as the dotted line is pretty and easy to spot and accurate
