How to Automatically Fill Lengthened Bar with Notes from Next Measure in Insert Mode?

Hi all

When I use Insert Mode (I) to change a time signature to make a measure longer (e.g., from 4/4 to 6/4 in existing music), Dorico correctly expands the bar .

However, the new space in the lengthened bar now contains rests. To fill this, I then manually select notes from the next bar and use Option+left arrow to pull them into the current bar.

My question is: Is there a way for Dorico to automatically pull the necessary notes from the beginning of the following measure into the newly created space of the lengthened bar, without requiring this manual “select and move” step?

If you don’t have insert mode on, then Dorico will rebar everything that follows the new time signature. If you only wanted the one bar in 6/4, you’ll then need to add a 4/4 to return to the original meter.
