How to automatically prevent to split a bar across two adjacent systems?

Has there been an answer on how to prevent splitting bars across pages?
There are no system breaks. There’s a purple - instead of green - rectangle at the right of the system in Engraver Mode.

Check preferences→Note Input and Editing, if snap system and frame breaks… is checked.

It was indeed checked, but when I unchecked it, nothing changed in the file…

This shouldn’t matter, I guess, since it’s not an open bar.

You have system breaks in the middle of bars. Turn View→Signposts on and delete them or move them to the correct positions in Write mode with alt/opt arrows. With the preference I showed you before, checked, they should snap to barlines when you create them.

I hadn’t thought of it, but that’s an important detail – the preference only affects what happens during creation of breaks, doesn’t impact existing ones.

My only antidote to this is that Dorico is objectively horribly designed. I have spent SOOOO much time figuring out how to solve layout issues that Sibelius just doesn’t have. If it was possible, I would actually petetion steinberg for a refund. I’m an extremely dissapointed Dorico customer.
