How to change 4/4 time signature with triplets to compound time?

Hello

I have this in my score editor.

but I would like to change the time signature to 12/8. When I change to 12/8 in my project everything goes off the grid and I get this:

Is there a way to make it so that I don’t have to edit the midi data manually?

Hi,

You need to stretch the MIDI Part or use the Logical Editor to speed up/slow down the MIDI data.

Do the following (in the exact order)… Switch all your tracks from Musical Timebase to Linear Timebase (“clock” icon instead of the “quarter-note” icon on each track) Multiply the tempo by 3/2 (so, here, 126 BPM) Change the time signature to 6/8 Switch the tracks back to Musical Timebase.
