How to change sounds in generic versions of third-party plug-ins?

Hello, I have a question about the generic version of plug-ins in Cubase. It is known that the plug-ins displayed in this version load much faster and there is no problem with them except a little more difficult to find a parameter. In the built-in plug-ins of Cubase 12 Pro there is also no problem to change presets in the generic version plug-in. However, I don’t know how to do this with other manufacturers’ plug-ins, such as Omnisphere or Spire. Is there any way to change presets in these plug-ins when they are displayed in generic version ?

I tried loading omnisphre on generic view and indeed there is no way to change the presets

Hi,

Is there the Cubase load preset field available? So does it mean there is no the plug-in’s preset load available?

The preset field is there but when clicking in it there are no presets available

Hi,

So if the plug-in would pass the presets to the host (Cubase in this case), it would work.

I never gave that a thought but it makes sense.
The VST parameters, that are listed, are to communicate with the host. If a plugin has an internal preset system it does not to communicate this to the host, therefore this system is not laid out as VST parameter(s) and thus cannot be accessed by the generic interface.
