I’ve had Wavelab Pro 12 for about a month, unfortunately I haven’t had much time to use it as I would’ve liked. It’s clear that it’s your typical audio editor but on several different types of steroids, with options for everything when it comes to audio files. That’s not a bad thing, but obviously it has a steep learning curve for some things.
For example, I’m trying to simply load a song purchased on iTunes just for fun, to see how much I can improve an AAC iTunes Plus file. And I want to export it to a WAV file at 24 bits 48 Khz.
I know there are tons of options for dither this and that and so on, but what’s the quick and sure way to render that file with all the filters applied to a 24/48 WAV file? So far I was able to export to 48 Khz, but the bit depth is set to 32, even if I haven’t set it that way.
