How to combine multiple drum sounds from VSTS

Hi guys,

I thought I saw a tutorial on how to combine multiple drum sounds using groove agent… Maybe I’m wrong?

What I am tryuing to do is take sounds from multiple different VST instruments inside HalionSonic and put them into one track. I can make multiple tracks for drums and then play each instrument, but that seems hassley.

Any help?

Yes, you can do this using a multitimbral VSTi like Halion SE, multiple VSTis, sound modules or any combination there of.

But you don’t need Groove Agent to do this.

The ‘trick’ is to learn how to make custom drum maps and use the channel and output settings. See page 401 in the Operations Manual.
