How to configure Korg Kaoss Pad 3 as Send or External FX?

Has anyone configured a Korg Kaoss Pad 3 with Cubase 7 to be used as a Send or External FX processor? If so, how would I do this? Right now I have a MIDI channel setup and have the KP3 input on KP3 Pad and the output to KP3 Sound, which of course only records MIDI messages from the XY pad. I’d like to use my KP3 as an external effect so I could manipulate some audio tracks inside a project in real time with the onboard KP3 fx.

Can anyone tell me how to set this up?

The first thing you’ll need to do is tell us what audio interface you’re using.

The audio interface needs to have enough inputs/outputs to route the signal to/from the audio in/outs of the KP3.
