How to create drum rolls with tied notes?

Hi,
I am doing a transcription of “Tommy Igoe’s Lifetime Warmups” for drums in Dorico 2.1 and I came across a problem how to correctly notate a “drum roll tied to another note (single strike at the end)”
Drum rolls are commonly notated as tremolo notes which are tied to the next note or not, depending how you want the roll to be executed.
If I am using the “tie note” function in Dorico the second note changes to a tremolo note too. I can’t find an option to disable this behavior.

Any idea how to change this?
