My problem: When I erase a note from the timeline, the following notes will move forward. How can I prevent this?

When I delete a note it is gone and nothing else changes.
I don’t know how to explain otherwise. It doesn’t happen always, I mean not in every project. But once this occurs I don’t know what to do about it. As I tried to explain, when I delete a note, I see the following notes moving forward in the timeline, as if they want to fill up the empty space of the deleted note. I hope you understand mij poor English.

Can you please check in the upper area of the editor window if you can see something like this?
It is a menu to setup what we call the “Snap Type”. If yours is set to Shuffle, please set it to “Grid”.

I changed it to grid, but nothing changed, problem still occurs…
Found it! I was changing the snap type at the main screen.
Just now I understand I must really select the parameter lower at the editor window!
