How to Delete VST plugins ? I can only guess

hi.
i’ve tried searching and come up with 13,000 pages… or googling shows installing… or blacklisting…
so i’m here…
i’m having a helluva time trying to find out out to just delete unwanted plugins…
I have a Korg Gadget Set of synths which i don’t really use. so there is a poo-load of VSTs…

    • i see a trash can in the right panel (tab called ‘default’ )of the plug-in manager but it is greyed out.

I am guessing that i would

  1. delete the VSTs in the audio plugin library on my Mac
  2. go back into the Cubase Plug-In Manager and hit the RE-SCAN ?

i don’t want to just try this without knowing for sure, in case Cubase refuses to load looking for the plug-ins i just deleted…

Some plugins come with uninstallers, but if not, just delete the .vst file from the …/Plug-Ins/VST folder.
