How to disable HyperThreading

I always see the talk about disabling HyperThreading. I am trying out a new machine with a i7 7700HQ which, according to the intel website, has Hyperthreading technology. In the BIOS, there is no option about it though. If you can’t disable it in the BIOS, is there a Windows utility or something? I am getting some occasional dropouts with my UR44 that I was not getting on my old 4th gen i7. I wanted to try the Hyperthreading tweak.

Anyone now how?

Difficult to tell exactly without knowing what motherboard you have, but its usualy under the CPU or advanced CPU section of the bios next to C states which you also want to turn off.
