How to dock to the right the Master Channel (Stereo Out) Cubase Artist 14

Hello guys! I hope you’re enjoying the new update for Cubase 14. I was wondering about why i have the Stereo Out (Master) together instruments and audio channels, previous version I remember the Master Channel was docked to the right!! Is there a way to dock it back to the right in my mixer windows?? (Cubase 14 Artist)

Regards and best for you guys!

Hi,

Are you talking about the MixConsole window or in the Lower Zone? Are there Zones in the Cubase Artist’s MixConsole?

MixConsole Windows! :frowning: Tell me more about zones! I’m wonder because in Element the Master channel was docked to the right until i upgraded to Artist!

Hi,

Yes, in the Elements edition, there are no Zones.

In the MixConsole window, bottom in the Inspector, you can see Channel and Zones. Switch over to Zones. There are 3 columns, which represent 3 Zones. Click on the 3rd column to place the Channel into the Right Zone.

I just have left zone in My Cubase 14 Artist! T.T

Done!!! I think this could be more intuitive! XD hahaha thanks for helping me!

Checking the link provided, I see there:

“Note

The MixConsole in the lower zone of the Project window does not follow any visibility changes that you perform in the MixConsole window, and vice versa.”

So really cannot move the stereo-out channel to the right? What an oversight…

I can. So maybe you can, too.

You mean here, right? I know you can do this in the pop-up console. But here?

Yes.
Left Zone → Visibility → Zones

In your screenshot the left zone is hidden. You would have to have it displayed in order to be able to set up the channel placement.

Great, thank you a lot!. I found that the only option to keep these settings when starting a new project is to save a new startup template.

That is generally the idea of Cubase. Set things up the way you like it, then save it as a template.
A template is just a project file in a special folder on the hard drive.
Some settings are stored in a project, others are stored as “workplace” settings. They remain the same when you change projects. Key commands are an example.
