How to Exclude the Last Selected MIDI Note in logical Editor?

Hey guys,
I have a set of selected MIDI events in a MIDI part. I want to apply a transform action to them, but only to all notes except the last one in my selection.
The reason I need to keep the last note selected is that later in my macro, another action will apply an effect to all selected notes. So, while I don’t want the last note affected by the transformation, I still need it selected for the next step.
Is there a way in the Logical Editor*to filter the selected notes and exclude just the last one from the transformation?

I’m afraid this is not possible. The Logical Editor cannot store a variable or “count”, to find the last one.

This is why Cubase needs a scripting , er, addition. A “for” loop would do that.
